AIPS is covered by the Free Software Foundation's General Public License and can be obtained free of charge via anonymous FTP at ftp.aoc.nrao.edu/pub/software/aips. This form is intended for those who cannot easily download it, and/or those who wish to run AIPS off a CDROM.
