This area contains most of the AIPS Memos which are of current
interest and associated documentation.  There are four basic file
types: Plain text (.TXT or .TEXT or .LIS), PostScript output from TeX
and LaTeX memos (.PS), Runoff source (.RNO).  The only exception is
the site survey which is in wordperfect format. See also
"AIPSMEMO.LIST" for addtional info on AIPS memos.

The CookBook is also present in this area in the form of PostScript
files names COOK*.PS.  See README.COOKBOOK for a plain text listing of
the table of contents along with indications of which chapters are up
to date and which are not.
