SLIME is an AIPS task that uses an X Window System interface to allow you to construct model radio brightness distributions by manipulating graphical representations of the model components. You may also plot model visibilities against actual data or optimize the model parameters to obtain the best fit to the data.

SLIME is not distributed as a part of the standard AIPS distribution but is made available as a "plug-in" component. Binary distributions for SPARC workstations running Solaris and ALPHA workstations running Digital UNIX and their associated documentation may be downloaded from the SLIME download page.
