AXTYPE
Type: Adverb    (character * 8)
Use:  To specify the type of axis.  FITS standard types include
      'RA', 'DEC', 'LL', 'MM', 'GLON', 'GLAT', 'ELON', 'ELAT',
      'TIME', 'FREQ', 'LAMBDA', 'VELO', 'STOKES', 'COMPLEX',
      'DISTANCE', 'ANGLE', 'PIXEL'
Null value: none
Verbs:
   ALTDEF........Sets frequency vs velocity relationship into image
                 header.  AXTYPE defines the choice of radio or optical
                 velocity and relative to LSR, heliocentric, or
                 observer.
   AXDEFINE......Define new or alter previous axis description.
                 There is no default for AXTYPE.
Tasks:
   TX2IM.........Converts a 1-dimensional text file into cataloged
                 image.
   UVHGM.........Plots statistics of uv data files as histogram.
                 AXTYPE selects the physical parameters of up to 8
                 histograms to be plotted.
