FACTOR
Type: Adverb (Real)
Use: A multiplication factor. Often used to scale plotted symbols (no
comment below), to speed up Clean operations, and to scale the
input data before addition os a model as well as other scalings.
Null value: 0 (0 for Clean and with input data, 1 for plot symbols, ...)
Verbs:
CHARMULT......Changes the multiplication factor for TV characters.
REMOVIE.......Verb to rerun a previously loaded (TVMOVIE) movie.
FACTOR is the zoom factor.
RESCALE.......Verb to modify image scale factor and offset.
TVCUBE........Verb to load a cube into tv channel(s) & run a movie.
FACTOR is the zoom factor.
TVMOVIE.......Verb to load a cube into tv channel(s) & run a movie.
FACTOR is the zoom factor.
Procedures:
LINIMAGE......Build image cube from multi-IF data set. FACTOR is the
Clean speed-up factor.
MAPPR.........Simplified access to IMAGR. FACTOR is the Clean
speed-up factor.
PIPEAIPS......Calibrating amplitude and phase, and imaging VLA data.
FACTOR is the frequency averaging factor.
VLBARUN.......Applies amplitude and phase calibration procs to VLBA
data. FACTOR scales the image size for calibration
sources (FACTOR * 128)

BLWUP.........Blow up an image by any positive integer factor.

BPPLT.........Plots selected contents of bandpass (BP) files versus
time.
BSCOR.........Combines two beam-switched images. Beam throws are
scaled by FACTOR.
BSGRD.........Task to image beam-switched single-dish data. Beam
throws are scaled by FACTOR.
BSROT.........Modifies SD beam-switch continuum data for error in
throw. Beam throws are scaled by FACTOR.
BSTST.........Graphical display of solutions to frequency-switched
data. Beam throws are
scaled by FACTOR.
CAPLT.........Plots closure amplitude and model from CC file.
CCFND.........Prints the contents of a Clean Components extension file.
FACTOR scales the negative flux in the 2nd pass.
CCGAU.........Converts point CLEAN components to Gaussians. FACTOR
scales the component flux.
CCRES.........Removes or restores a CC file to a map with a gaussian
beam. FACTOR scales the residual image in addition to
the default (beam area) scaling.
CLOSE.........Plots closure phase or amplitude spectra averaged over
closures.
CLPLT.........Plots closure phase and model from CC file.
CONVL.........Convolves an image with a Gaussian or another image.
FACTOR scales the output for the change in units.
CORFQ.........Corrects uvw for incorrect observing frequency. FACTOR
scales the input frequency.
CUBIT.........Model a galaxy's density and velocity distribution from
full cube. FACTOR is a convergence criterion.
DCONV.........Deconvolves a gaussian from an image. FACTOR is the
fraction of non-blanked pixels to call a pixel "not
isolted".
DGAUS.........Correct UV model for convolution by Clean beam.
FACTOR is the maximum allowed correction factor.
